Are there any roller coasters that remain standing at AW or have they all been dismantled?

Viper, Texas Cyclone, XLR8, Serial thriller (parts of it), Batman, (parts of it), and parts of ultra Twister are still standing, thats it.

So does that mean the parts that've been dismantled have been shipped to their new locations Skuller? I'm suprised parts of ST are still standing as I would've thought at least that one would've been completely dismantled by now & sent out.

Now as for TC I hear they're leaving it standing & letting the new property owners take the wrecking ball to it,real sad to see such a good woodie go to waste like that instead of being relocated to another park.

It may head for SFDL since it is on way on I-90 too.

My guts tell me that it will go to SFDL because of few reasons:

1) it's on I-90 which is on way to SFDL, Great Escape, La Ronde, SFNE and SFA...

2) GE already had 2 rides, SFNE already had 2 rides, La Ronde already had a clone of Batman, so that only leave SFDL and SFA out.

3) However SFA seem out of the way, and they are supposed to get Ultra Twister... SFDL only got a waterslide and also they are in MUCH NEEDED for a coaster, since they havent gotten one since 1999 so Batman would make a great addition.

True but wasn't B:TE on the auction list? SFDL is already getting a waterslide from SFAW & we know how SF has shortchanged them since superman went in coasterwise so it'd be nice to see them get something in that dept.

They could also be simply sending the track to La Ronde to use as a replacement for cobra as well, even steel track coasters believe it or not have sections replaced as needed just as the woodies do,I'd hope they send B:TE our way instead of UT as we've already got a shuttle(invertigo) & were originally supposed to get a standup in 01 before it got replaced by the vekoma flyer they put in but we'll see who ends up getting which coaster in a few weeks or months when parts start showing up at the two parks.

This probably isn’t related but it is on the route to either Six Flags Darien Lake or great escape. While filling up with gas at a gas station at exit 48A. I saw what I believe is 2 sections of the Batman ride from Astroworld.

I got it on my phone but I don’t know how to download them to the computer.

a wittness quote^

but somone said the truck took off !

I don't think it's coming to TGE, I should know.. I work there! lol

From what I heard, it wasn't even Batman at all!

The Great Escape have been getting ALOT of pieces from Tidal Wave and Serial Thriller though. If you guys wanna see their first time seeing snow, check out the pics. They are on www.GECentral.com

How did you guys like ST? Is it like any other SLC clone out there?

You've ridden one hang & bang you've practically ridden them all.

You know I had a thought:B:TE's trains were shipped out just before track removal was begun(kinda like ST trains started showing up long before track did) so we have to wait & see where B:TE's trains show up to get an idea on just where this coaster may be going first.
