UT's track leading up to the first drop is the only part left. I would give UT about 15% up, BTE 30% up, viper 90-95% up, XLR-8 around 60-70% up, ST 2% up, MMB 100% up, GL 0%, Alpine astroway 100% up.

I don't care what Mance said, it's not true. The week before, Mance said there were no rides on site, yet the day before that, www.GECentral.com posted pictures (that I personally took, being I own GECentral) of it in their front lot. No official comment from TGE is credible anymore, which is ashame. The ride parts were in plain view, GECentral.com posted pictures of it, the next morning it hit the local paper, and TGE flat out lied about it. Instead, a simple "no comment" from TGE would have been a reasonable thing to say.

The rides will debut at TGE, no one knows when though. They are denying the coaster in case it doesn't get approved, because the neighboors that surround the park give TGE, and the town major issues. And being the new hotel is going to debut in 06', they don't want to overshadow that. TGE is getting 10 semi's a day with ST, and TW parts, and the neighboors are already complaining.

Even if I didn't know this info, common sense should kick in. TGE is out of the way from most SF parks, and TGE would be the LAST place to "store" rides.

SFA has somewhat the same problem getting rides approved what with all the nieghbors complaining of the noise...that's why JJ ends up closed every fall during FF but for some reason it was open in 05.

I can see TGE as a temporary storage spot for the SLC though while SFI tries to figure out wether to keep it or scrap it,I honestly wonder why they'd want to keep UT when it's 20 years old & wasn't all that exciting when it was new so I see SFA just temporarily storing it like TGE is with the SLC & water ride.

Think about it:if TGE wanted an SLC couldn't they just get a  brand new one from vekoma versus a ride that is used & had been in operation for some six years at another location?

hmm.. let's see.. SF has financial issues right now, SERIOUS financial issues right now, and you think they'd spend money on a new coaster for a smaller park in their chain?, rather then get one for free? Don't think so.

Trust me, TGE isn't just storing ST. I know this for a fact. ST will most likely debut in 07', thus why they ripped down some things already where the proposed spot for it is to be.

Now why would they do that?  Six Flags is paying for the shipping of this equipment, and I don't think anyone needs to be reminded of the financial straits they are in.  To ship a coaster cross-country just to throw a bunch of curious spectators off is a rather expensive PR flop, as there's no monetary benefit, plus that's a lot of time wasted.  Sorry, try again.

Mayan Mind Bender from what pics I took looks 100% up to me. They took the gargoyle heads out for auction but that's all I know.
