Sad to say that it's a done deal.It really was a stupid idea for SFI to close  down the park...I think that was the straw that broke the stockholders backs & finally allowed for Burke & CO. to get their walking papers.

SFAW really suffered at the hands of Burke's reign,no new capital meant no real attendance gains for the park, but no!! they decided to invest all of their funds into just SFMM,SFGRADV & SFGRAM when they should've shared the wealth between all of the parks.

I heard since the rides did not meet the reserve that they will hold another auction for the rides. Greezed lightin was 'sold' for 8000 to a scrap metal dealer. Since the ride didn't meet the reserve the ride is not up for scrap metal, otherwise greezed lightin' would have been toast.

WTF! Why sell a perfectly good shuttle looper like GL(or any of the other coasters) to a scrap metal dealer when they can easily be relocated to,or purchased by other parks in the US & if not just sold overseas.I'm sure a few European parks would be delighted to recieve any one of Anton's fine creations to add to their lineup don't you agree?

Maybe high maintenance six flags doesn't want to deal with it.

It is being used as spare parts for the Greased Lightning at SFKK. It is in no condition to be operated. Why would they need a crane to tear down Cyclone? Could this be a sign that someone brought the Cyclone? I think ACErs should try to save Texas Cyclone some how.
