they are going to re-sell GL because it didn't meet the reserve. So maybe a different person, other than a scrap metal dealer, will buy it.

-they will also re-sell BTE, XLR-8 and MMB because none of them meet the reserve

I don't know but I saw the rafts in the back parking lot and the sign was auctioned.

Why try & resell them just because they didn't meet the reserve? If you ask me SFI is doing itself a real disadvantage by not simply shipping these rides off to other parks like they did ST & UT.

Plenty of SF parks that havn't seen a new coaster in years would be happy to recieve & be able to breathe new life into these rides once again.

The ride is getting trashed. The boats might make new life elsewhere.

not be a nag but I'm curious to see more pics from A.W.

So what are you guys going to do this year as far as Six Flags. I'm going to Great Adventure, Splashtown and possibly Fiesta Texas to show them that I'm a Six Flags fan. I believe that I went to Astroworld 20 times last year with a season pass.

Is the Astroway still up? What happened to the gondolas - were they auctioned off, or were they shipped to another park?

It will not be relocated.  SFGAm recently received at least six rafts from Thunder River.  There are 4 orange, 1 brown, and 1 green raft that I know of.  They are sitting in SFGAm's employee lot next to our Roaring Rapids rafts.
