i think its funny. They think oh we won't return, but in the end you do. So everyone is complaining that the sign was miss leading.

Those pictures get more and more sad everyday. Hey some said that there was cables on the cyclone, I didn't see any!! www.oldastroworld.com

Someone saw cables hanging on cyclone and ASSUMED they we're gonna use them to "pull" the ride down... Those cables are from the support towers, they have been cut and hanging. I don't think one could simply pull the coaster down.

the shoot is still there and the cement base of the river is there. I noticed that they cleared the trees around the mind bender and a couple days later the structure was gone. They cleared the trees around the cyclone but nothing happened yet.

everytime i see pics of old astroworld i just don't see the park being destroyed like it is now.It just really hard to see somthing thats been some what a big part of houston. Well i guess the old sayn comes in "Everything comes to A end sooner or later" Sadly its later, 37 years later

Is Cyclone still standing, or have they gotten to it?

If I were a developer of a new hotel on the property, I might try to build Cyclone into my structure, put it all indoors, put the front check-in desk in the loading station, maybe convert the lift hill into an escalator to the second-floor ballrooms.
