I heard a rumor that the Cyclone has been levelled today.  Can anyone confirm this?  Any photographic evidence?

I thought the Texas Cyclone was already demolished considering this picture on 2/27/06 at www.saveastroworld.com.  I guess parts of it were still standing?

I knew something was wrong when I was heading down 610 and my eye kept scanning over Astroworld looking for that last standing familiar white structure. Except today I didn't see it.

It's pretty weird actually because I was supposed to exit on Fannin but couldn't get in the exit in time so I had to take Kirby and U-turn, which caught my eye.

I pulled over and took just a few pics, there was another person there with a video camera who was talking to someone behind the fence... not sure if maybe that's a member here.

omg, omg omg omg!!!! I'm so sorry that I couldn't be there with you on your last breathe of life. But in the end you fulfilled duty in life to bring joy, hapiness, smiles, laughters, and screams into the Houston area. The Texas Cyclone was TRUELY the greatest ride.

Has anyone noticed that when it came down it was very dark and gloomy outside with a few drops of 'tears' coming down. Its like that the weather was telling us there would be a death at AstroWorld today.

seems like the pics on www.oldastroworld.com are not working.
