Okay it have been confirmed, SWAT and DF has arrived to SFNE, they are laying on SFNE's parking lot.

For photos: Go to http://www.sfne.com

This was confirmed when it was first posted in this forum.  The administrator here's actually on site at Astroworld assisting with the dismantling and shipping of attractions.  You can take him for his word.

Several of Astroworld's rides are going to SFOT. Including Looping Starship, the scrambler ride, balloon ride and the Trioka ride.

I'm not sure but I heard Serial Thriller will go to The Great Escape at Lake George, NY? Amusement Today said it will be relocated there? Can someone please confirm this?

Fierce Pancake, I know they are going to SFNE, but some people wont believe it till they see pictures. So I posted a link with pictures to confirm and prove some people wrong.

As far as I can tell the SLC seems to be the only coaster SF is keeping within the chain.

Day 16 Nov 15, 2005

Not a lot to pass on except most of Swat is gone. The control cabinets and counterweights are the only things left.

We are still pulling control cables out of D. Drop.
Warp 2K is gone.
Scrambler (Joust a bout, Rickshaws) is gone.
Most of the rides in Looney Toons is gone.
Most of Big Kahuna is gone.
Wacky Waters is packed and ready to ship.
The landscaper office (portable building) was loaded on a truck to be shipped out.

Seems to be a constant flow of 18 wheelers coming into the park, loading up and head out.

November 11, 2005 was the last day for Astroworld employees. The only employees that are left are the ones that signed up for demolition. Most of us are depressed. It is not easy tearing your life away.

PS If you guys need a forum topic, just let me know. I am still busy building the site when I have time.

It hurts seeing SWAT in pieces so far away from Houston*. I appreciate the efforts people are taking to photograph the deconstruction.

*Hurts for me because I was among both the first and last ever public launch.

I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but I hope someone is photographically documenting the demolition.  It would be interesting to see on one of these websites.

Sorry folks, but there is not a lot of picture taking during demo. They are keeping us busy and we just don't have time to take pictures. Also what comes in and out the gate requires paper work. After all the years working for them, they all of a sudden don't trust us. They might have something to steal that is worth losing our severance over.
