What I did at Astroworld

I started in 1969 on the sports cars and moved to the Alpine Astroway for the Summer and Fall. In 1970 I was the foreman of that ride and in 1971 I was foreman of the reconstructed Astrowheel.

What I want to share with you.

Starting the Astrowheel one morning before opening and having the ride lift and leave one car on the ground. Maintenance had left the pins out of the linkage on top of the car! No damage... just glad the pins were out and not left loose to slip out later.
