What I did at Astroworld

I started out working at the Barnyard and worked my way through games and attractions: Fast Draw, Coney Island, Nottingham, RCV-Western... working my way up to seasonal supervisor. After spending a season at Waterworld I came back to the park as a Merchandise Supervisor and left in '87 to marry Don Johnson, another former employee.

What I want to share with you.

When I started out at the Barnyard my job (besides getting stuck in Kiddie Games for hours on end) was to count guests coming into the petting zoo and to sweep up the goat poop. I remember the goats kept eating the paper count logs and going off every night along with the fireworks. The loud booms literally scared the @#$% out of them night after night!
